Private Client Director | United Kingdom
Steve has played a key role in the financial services sector for the past 35 years. Before joining the ranks of the Blevins Franks Group, Steve was local Chairman for the Society of Financial Advisers (SOFA – forerunner of the Personal Finance Society – PFS). In 2000, he became involved in the Simply Money TV channel, fielding questions as one of the resident industry experts. Joining Blevins Franks as Managing Director for the UK operation in 1999, he now focuses on advising clients living in the UK.
Steve was one of the very first individuals in the UK to become FSA authorised when the Financial Services Act came into force. He holds the full Financial Planning Certificate as well as the level 4 Pensions Diploma (DipPFS).
As a Private Client Director, Steve’s role is to provide a highly personalised and holistic approach to high net-worth UK residents. He advises on a wide range of different products and services, with particular emphasis on all pension-related aspects. His advice includes also lump sum investment planning and tax-efficient investments.
Steve is married to Sue and they have four children.
Away from the office, Steve is a keen sportsman. He enjoys playing tennis, squash and golf, although his knees and ankles may soon force him to become an armchair critic.
