Brad has over 30 years’ experience in financial services as a financial adviser and life insurance consultant. He spent 14 years at Clerical Medical Investment Group, specialising in offshore investments and the use of trusts for financial planning. He was also extensively involved in the delivery of presentations and training to intermediaries across the UK. Prior to joining Blevins Franks, his role involved providing bespoke tax planning strategies to high net worth clients.
Brad holds the Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) and Investment Management Certificate (IMC), and is an Associate Member of the Personal Finance Society (APFS).
Brad opened his office in Niort in 2009. With extensive knowledge of the French tax regime and its interaction with UK legislation, Brad has since built up a large number of satisfied clients, mostly through recommendations. He travels all across North West France meeting clients and organising seminars and social events across the region.
Brad moved to France with his fiancée, Sally, and they have settled in La Chapelle Thireuil in Deux Sèvres together with their rescued pets – two dogs and a cat. They enjoy the relaxed way of life the French countryside offers and like being part of a village community.
Away from work, Brad enjoys gardening and walking the dogs. A keen cook, he especially enjoys al fresco cooking during the summer months, and his signature dish of paella is a great favourite with friends and neighbours. He also enjoys travelling, and in particular, the Far East, where he and Sally will get married in 2017.
